Yeah. Same. Seeing them still alive after 150 years is also another surprise lol
They were put in the cold sleep as they said. Their explanation is reasonable and they would died in the same age as the human lifespan if not because of that.
Yes, I understand that. But I didn't expect them to still be there before I heard the explanation.
The 150 years makes me a bit confused, the Worm lady/thing acted as if it was a lie and it's been way more than that, taking how many PLANTs they collected.
Very
Yeah...I mistook them for the ones whose ship crashed earlier in the season...or there's some weird plot jutsu that's going to happen...
Yeah, I thought Luida was going to die by Knives hands during the flashback.
I had Luida dead & Brad going back to being cold towards Vash.
Though at this point I still believe Luida will die, so Brad can make Vash's next & more powerful arm
How I met my gun and Lost my arm
And that sir makes nice title for a good new anime for the next sci-fi western lol
more an isekai
and the gun straight up turns into a girl or some shit idk
Sounds like Akikan XD
Ohhh!! Yippie Ki-Yooo!
🙅♂️💪=👉💥
so Vash can produce GAY-TO!
And Nai can produce...Knives!
I hope not. Knives was a much better villain when he had superior 'creation' abilities to Vash in the manga
Am I the only one with the suspicion that planet No Man's Land is actually what's left of Earth, and the SEEDS ships crashed before they left, not once they arrived? I can't imagine how Zazie/Worms would know about Earth's past history otherwise.
in the og anime the planet has two suns and 5 moons. This reboot hasn't shown that yet.... would be an interesting change ngl.
The planet was also called Gunsmoke in the og anime
just gonna say having many planets in the sky like Moons is always really interesting
No man's land being being earth does sound interesting, but them crashing before they left is just dumb. The pilots like rem spent their waking time navigating for many years, so it's simply impossible for them to crash before they left. Them returning to earth is only plausible if knives secretly redirected the ship to earth without rem and the others realizing.
considering how far the next plausible hospitable planet, even if it's stalled for the 31st Century, it really is a possibility that they were out of aim for how long their initial archives guided or their targeted planets presumably decayed or collapsed, or you know, turning your ships into literal hotels. in other words, Gunsmoke looks really like Earth if you interpret the left continent as Eurasia and Africa
I always thought that the map they show in the middle of the episodes kinda looks like Earth's world map.
I take that for them either being too lazy to reimagine geography or that they're intentionally basing it off Earth to add to the alarm bells on rl climatic changes happening a bit faster than humankind can develop, about now.
Wow, that's a valid theory!
This is a good theory, as in it does make sense in vacuum, but this series certainly won't turn out like that. Zazie is with Nai and doctor, high-position scientist, they both know enough about what happened and how. It would also make no sense that there are, well, Worms that represent the natives of Earth now.
This is an entirely new planet, be assured of that. This is not going to turn out like Godzilla trilogy, with the Earth repopulated by totally alien lifeforms.
Not if this is borrowing from the manga like it has been.
There should still be a human fleet in space on there way to subdue the rogue Plants
good try, but the bug guy said they destroyed earth.
destroyed doesn't have to be gone completely. probably uninhabitable but still there....... but who knows perhaps it popped like the death star
I am sure at some point there were scenes with two moons; also, Zazie was just told by Knives or the doc, clearly.
Rem and the rest spent a while navigating, plus why wouldn't Brad, Luida and the rest just call the planet "Earth", in case?
Unlike Meryl and Roberto, they were born there and should know.
That would be cool, but only if they somehow added another sun and some more moons.
that would be a cool twist...... but doubtful......never know though...... stranger things have happened
So he can create a portal in his arm, and that's why he lost it..... I buy it honestly lol. Well I'll answer your question worm, PLANTs are obviously more important XD, but like Vash said they can't live by themselves for too long so humans are also necessary...
They need counseling! Me too btw!
I feel like they should kill bad scientists who like to overwork the PLANTs rather than all human, because just like Vash said they need human and human need them as well. TBH, i feel bad for the PLANTs because they were use as an object of convenience for humanity even though they have heart and feeling.
Yeah true, but I do want to know more about the PLANTS they just seem to be an energy source rather than life itself since they dont last much.
That's because like Zazie said humans are repeating their mistakes & just using Plants as slave labor. Plants live hundreds of years. Humans are the ones that "dont last much"
Idk, they were talking about the higher dimensional thing as well. Even then, they still feel pain and suffering, so i would call them as a being either they would last long or not.
idk was looking forward to his arm going out of control and him obliterating a town... i mean thats how he got his name to my recollection..... now it seems like he may of gotten his name because he was mistaken for knives...... hope this aint the case but i cant think of an alternative......
Finally, everything makes sense. Humans who lived on Earth destroyed their planet by abusing the resources then fled on airships in search of a new planet. They couldn't find one so they started living on the ship. Now most probably they either 1) Discovered PLANT 2) Made artificial organisms called PLANT which they started using for their own benefit. Since Nai was a sentient PLANT he decided to go to a planet where only plants could live so no human could abuse them ever and this is the reason behind the great crash 150 years ago.
From the episode itself, it is alluded that the Plants were discovered, somehow. They have a connection to a higher dimension - the gate to which Vash unwillingly activated in his arm - and, possibly, cannot exist normally in the "human" dimension, the material universe.
Oh wow, you are correct! Thanks for the clarification!
From the actual source material (manga) humans created Plants. They are extra dimensional hive mind creatures & sentient Plants like, Knives & Vash, are anomalies. Not the first ones either. Yeah, keeping them in an enclosure is like their pot with soil or greenhouse.
Woah! So my second point was half right. Thanks
Welcome.
If you wanna be technical, both you points could be considered right.
-Humans made (hive mind) Plants
-Humans use Plants for creation of resources they carelessly wasted in the past.
-Humans discovered anomalous (sentient) Plants
Vash and nai doesnt change hairstyle for so long , how they maintance that undercut drip after 1 half century? Must be most skillfull barber on planet👀
My headcanon is that Vash an Nai sweat Plant juices an they use it as hair gel
Knives just gone Wolverine/X-23 and went on a rampage.
The 3D making him scary an pretty once again
Well color me surprised. I was so sure Luida and Brad were going to die by the end of the flashback, but turns out they are alive and well.
